Hi. I'm Neil. 

I grew up in Camiguin, a beautiful volcanic island off the coast of Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

Childhood was like a Peter Pan dream, jumping down the cool tropical waters (spring and sea) of the island, flying kite in the warmth of the summer and gobbling fresh fish, rice and vegetables. 

My mother is an artist earning a livelihood through painting, illustrating and drawing almost anything for anyone. Every time I asked her what she's doing she always answers, "Making money." Thus, I was conditioned to equate art to money. 

Electricity and television arrived at our home in the mid-90s bringing with it anime, specifically The Slayers. The series incorporated what I've been experiencing, Magic and Art. And the rest is history. 

When I'm not busy writing articles for work, I indulge myself in blogging, web designing and playing around ModX Content Management Systems.
